No, Durasteel systems are offered as a designed, supplied, installed, certified and guaranteed complete system in order to ensure compliance with the fire test certification and a guarantee/certificate of conformity that the system will perform as required.
Typically 2-6 weeks, depending on the design of the system. This can be even less for standard designs and items held in stock.

All Durasteel systems offer a minimum of 4 hours integrity and stability fire rating (E240 system). We also offer systems that offer up to 4 hours of fire insulation in addition to 4 hours integrity and stability (EI240 system).
The Durasteel board is 9.5mm thick and the depth of the framework for a standard barrier system is 80mm, therefore the typical minimum thickness is 89.5mm.
Yes, we offer fire insulated systems which maintain a maximum rise in surface temperature of 140°C (average) on the non-fire side after a 4 hour fire test.
The systems are tested and certified for fire attack from both the board-side and frame-side of the system.

No, Durasteel boards cannot be bent – however, we can achieve a curved effect by staggering the framework joints.
Yes, the systems are fully tested with all types and sizes of penetrations. Penetrations will be sealed and certified as part of the Durasteel system.

Yes, Durasteel has been used for many years in harsh environmental conditions, including off-shore rigs. A stainless steel finish is also available for highly corrosive environments.
The typical design life of a standard Durasteel system installed in a non-corrosive/internal environment is 40 years.
Durasteel has been tested to international fire test standards including BS476, EN1363-1 & -2, EN1364-1, UL263, ASTM E119, NFPA 251 and ISO22899-1. Please check the test standard details for each individual system for further information.
Durasteel systems are certified by many international certification bodies, including Exova Warrington, Lloyds Register, UL, ULC and FM, in addition to holding many country-specific fire/civil defence department approvals.
